Privacy Policy

The short version

Everything you type into our calculators — class names, grades, credits — is processed entirely in your browser. It is never transmitted to us, stored on our servers, or shared with anyone. We don't require accounts and don't collect personal information to use the site.

So you don't lose your work if you refresh or close the tab, the calculators save your latest entries in your own browser. That copy stays on your device and is never sent anywhere. The Clear all entries button removes it, as does clearing your browser's site data.

Calculator inputs

All GPA calculations run on your device. We have no access to your entries at any point.

Server logs

Like nearly all websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability purposes. These logs are not used to identify individuals and are retained only as long as operationally necessary.

Cookies and analytics

We use third-party analytics services to understand how the site is used and where visitors run into problems. These services set cookies and collect standard usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you interact with the page. They do not capture what you type into the calculators.

We don't sell or share this data with advertisers, and the site currently runs no advertising. Blocking cookies or using a tracker-blocking extension stops the analytics without breaking any calculator.

Children's privacy

The site is designed for general audiences, including students. We ask for no names, email addresses, accounts, or other identifying information from anyone, including children under 13, and the grades typed into the calculators never leave the visitor's own browser. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the contact page, write to us and we will delete it.

Contacting us by email

If you email us at the address on the contact page, we receive only what you choose to send (your email address and message) and use it solely to respond. We don't add you to mailing lists or share your details.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
